Where is the textbook department located? The textbook department is currently located in the library.

What are the hours for the textbook department? Normal textbook hours are 8:00am-3:30pm Monday thru Friday. However, hours may be adjusted to accommodate additional responsibilities.

Aren't library and textbooks one-in-the-same? No, textbooks and library are two completely separate departments. They just happen to share the same location. The Textbook Coordinator is in charge of any textbook related issues, but has nothing to do with the Librarian's duties, the library's space, its resources, or the students utilizing them, and visa-versa.

When are damages assessed? Most damages are assessed at check-in. Assessments from the end-of-year check-in will be made over the summer, and could be delayed until the next time the book is checked-out.

Why do you charge for pencil marks that can just be erased? Charges cover time and materials necessary to make repairs. Student can avoid charges by reading and following the book care guidelines.

Where do I pay the charges for textbooks? Charges can be paid at the textbook department.

What forms of payment are accepted? Cash is the preferred form of payment for textbook charges. Money order and cashier's cheques will also be accepted. However, personal checks are not accepted for charges. Nor are we equipped to accept credit cards.

When is the deadline to pay charges? Accounts must be cleared by the end of the year.

Do you accept payments? We know textbooks are expensive, so payments can be made to the textbook department.

Will I get a receipt? Yes. Receipts are issued and you should retain them for your records.
