Why was I charged for damage that I didn't do? You are responsible for the books issued to you. The book care guidelines contain any answers. Read and follow them to avoid questions and charges. What are the charges for damage? Charges vary and are posted in the library at the textbook department, many teachers have posted them in their classrooms. What if I am a 12th grader and owe charges? As stated on page 7 of the student handbook, if your account is not cleared prior to graduation, you will not be allowed to participate in the ceremonies. Is it true that the school can hold my diploma? Yes. In accordance with California's Education Code the schools are within their rights to withhold grades, transcripts and diplomas. |
