Why am I being charged for a lost book when I turned one in? You are responsible for the books listed on your account. Every book listed has a unique barcode number that was scanned at check out. The barcode of the book you turned in may not have been the one listed. Your account cannot be cleared until the book with that specific barcode is scanned back in. What happens to my debt if I transfer to another school? Your new school is well aware of your debts because they become part of your school record and are transferred with you. |
